Royal Trek

Royal Trekking as know as easy trekking holidays in Nepal

Royal Trek is one of the short trek which follows a path planted with hedges along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley, It is named after Prince Charles of England after he chose this for his trekking destination. It offers an excellent mountain view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range.

Royal trekking starts from Kalikastan ridge, about 25 km from scenic Pokhara, and passes through beautiful Gurung hamlets where little kids pester you for a picture or a chocolate and as you scramble the terraced farmlands your we will observe the magnificent Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre [fishtail peak] and the Langtang mountains that gives the view of nature's beauty at its best and finally ends at the scenic Begnas Lake which is about 30 km west of Pokhara City. This trek has less traffic and is a lovely walk.

Royal trekking is mostly suggested for those who have very limited time yet are looking for an opportunity to grasp an experience of a trekking holiday in the Himalaya. The community of Gurung people, rhododendron blooms and the Sal forest are the attractions of the trek. This trek will be good for those trekkers who like to go in less touristic areas. The well positioned villages among the cultivated fields and meeting the people will be a quite unforgettable experience.
